3 Types of Girls on Valentines Day

It’s February lovely’s and you know what that means?  Mushy cards, chocolate, and the most adorable outfits for Valentines day!  Looking for an outfit that will turn heads?  Wanting to look cute AF at your Galentine’s brunch? Wondering what you’ll wear for date night with your hunny?  I GOT YOU GIRL!

There’s different types of girls on Valentine’s Day.  We got our single girlies, the girls who celebrate their friendship for Galentine’s day, and lastly the ones who want to be wined and dined (me.) Let’s get into it.

1. Single and Slaying

It’s so empowering to see women take their lives in their own hands and be the main character in the story.  Single and Slaying my ladies!  Do you remember that song by Webbie back in 07’ “Independent”? If not,  go listen like RIGHT NOW. This look is for all you badass women.

When you see a woman in a leather jacket what you do think?  Baddie.  Leather pants?  Baddie.  Pops of red? BADDIE.

2. Galentines Gal Pal

This outfit is for the girls who love to celebrate Galentine’s Day.  This look can be worn virtually anywhere, and is perfect or brunch with the besties!

This ones for the girls who love casual, cute, and color block. Not only can this look be worn for your girls day, but can be repurposed for everyday wear.

3. Wine & Dine

Raise your hand if you want someone to take you out and treat you to dinner and drinks?  Personally I love being wined and dined.  I also love being the best dressed in the room.  The best ego booster is walking into a room and having all eyes on you.

Not because you have something stuck in your teeth or because that dirty piece of toilet paper is stuck to your shoe — it’s because you look fine and wine.  From what I’ve found women don’t dress for men — we dress for ourselves and for other women.  Make a statement upon arrival in this gorgeous date night outfit!

Conclusion

Whether you are one of these types of girls on Valentine’s day or you’re a combination of all three these outfits are perfect for you. Not only can these pieces be worn for the month of February you can also transition them throughout the year for other occasions.

Which type girl do you consider yourself? Single and slaying, the galentine’s gal pal, or the one who wants to be wined and dined?

Megan Scott

Hi friends! My name is Megan and I’m so happy to see you here! I started this blog as a creative space to share my favorite outfits, shops, and hopefully spark some styling inspiration for you!

A little background story about me:

I live for helping strong and savvy women feel confident in their clothing. No matter your shape, size, or economic status you too can dress like a baddie — and do it on a budget.

You do not have to break the bank in order to be stylish — and I am here to show you how.

Made up with Megan was a tag I started using on my Instagram when I was doing creative self portraits at home and it just kinda stuck with me.

I love photography whether it is for fashion, fun, or for brands collaborations so I wanted a name that would incorporate all the things I’m passionate about.

I am a wife and mother to two teenage boys and I currently reside in the outskirts of Jacksonville, FL. I started blogging a few years ago without any direction or actual knowledge. After being tired of not seeing any traction I changed gears and started working on the things that actually spark joy to my soul. Fashion.

If you are someone who is looking for affordable fashion finds, cute home decor, or simply just looking for styling inspiration this blog is for you. Welcome!
