Sundress Summers
Are you looking for something fun and girly to wear this summer? Because same.
It’s currently wedding season and then summers just around the corner so I was in need of a dress that I could wear multiple times. Target had exactly what I was looking for, and so much more!
Why Target?
Target has had bit of a reputation this year for putting out some of the most wild dresses. Not wild like fun and free… wild like little house on the prairie. It was giving Organ Trail. But my friends, Target has redeemed themselves with their summer line of sundresses!
Almost every dress I tried on had pockets!! And I don’t mean those tiny pockets that you can barely fit your debit card in — I mean big pockets that could carry your phone, keys, and snacks. Like, lots of snacks. I’m almost certain every girl loves a dress with pockets.
Why you want this dress
I typically am not one to wear yellow but this dress spoke to me. When I look at it I’m reminded of sunshine, sunflowers, and my pre-workout lol!
The wide-smocked banding around the torso is flattering and gives the illusion of a snatched waist. Want that. The dress is mostly cotton which means it’s extremely comfortable for all day wear. Need that. This particular dress would be perfect if you’re a guest at a wedding and has an element of elegance with the halter neckline with button closure. Bought that.
Midi Dress Express
Summer fashion for 2023 is going to consist heavily on midi dresses and an explosion of pink. I believe we have the new Barbie movie to thank for that (which we will be seeing). Midi dresses are pretty cute though.
I will admit, I haven’t always been a fan but I am quickly becoming one. This length of a midi dress works well with all height variations and body types and gives a traditional / classic look.
With that said,
What are your thoughts on mid-length dresses? Are you thinking about trying one this summer? If so, I would love to see how you style it!
I’m looking forward to playing around a bit to create a casual look as well. I know I’ll be wearing this adorable dress all summer long!
